Question: How can you build your firefighting team in an economical way to protect property and respond to fire, health and safety emergencies in the workplace in a professional and economical manner?
BUT we already have extinguishers, hose reels, alarm systems and sprinklers. Isn’t that sufficient you ask? These systems are in place to provide the initial response to fire incidents, but are not designed to protect business operations in any meaningful ways. To protect business operations and the healthy and safety of the employees and workplace, a trained and equipped emergency team is needed.

The Product Pyramid shows how equipment and training work hand in glove to build your firefighting team. At Level 1 are the basic equipment that can be found in most businesses for basic emergence response. This equipment is used by personnel with basic fire and first aid training including security and maintenance staff.
TRANSITION 1: EMERGENCY AUDIT and PLAN identifies and plans for the Emergency Response to known fire, health and safety issues in your hospital, hotel, department store, factory and business. The audit leads to and Emergency Plan to respond to these HAZARDS.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is purchased to provide protection to your Firefighting Team. The Firefighting Team is selected from the security, maintenance or production line employees to receive this PPE and special training in the wearing and use of this PPE.
The basic firefighting PPE includes a three-layer ►Firefighting coat and trouser ►Fire helmet ►Fire gloves ►Firefighting boots and ►A Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). This PPE allows the firefighting team to perform evacuations of staff and customers, extinguish fires inside as well as outside the building.
This is called a Level 2 response by equipped and trained employees of the company. This reduces loss to property and life from events related to fire, chemical exposure and health and safety emergencies within the area of the business.
TRAINING - On-site basic training in the proper and safe and proper use of this firefighting PPE is provided by Pacific and Fire AEC Co., Ltd. together with the delivery of this equipment to your company by trained personnel. This ensures that the equipment is ready for use at all times and the personnel are trained in the proper donning and safe use of this firefighting PPE during emergence response.
